MELODIC. SWEET. SOPRANO.
I think my first time singing publicly was for my school’s talent show. We started off as a group, and because no one else knew the song I suggested we sing (Tevin Campbell’s “Can We Talk”), my PE teacher suggested I sing it alone. I was in the 2nd grade. I did it solo. I was so scared. I lost.
Years later, I won first place in a local competition. The win felt amazing. The prize was cash. I was solo. Since then, I’ve had some of the best times learning music, bonding with singers, performing, and recording BGVs (background vocals) with some gifted artists. I’m honored for the opportunity and thankful for the learning experiences. More is on the way – including my own music someday. And when it drops, I want you to press play.
